I always preferred drawing pictures over taking spelling tests in school. My first commisioned work was drawing characatures of teachers in junior high. In high school, I took up airbrushing t-shirts and license plates during the summer. After graduating, I lived in Spain and created murals as service projects. I continued painting murals and drawing portraits after coming home. I enrolled in the Visual Communication program at Weber State University and landed a job as a graphic designer for a magazine at the same time. Just before graduation, I accepted a position at my current job.
